Music for your wedding

Your wedding with Jannik

What you can expect from me

A personal, friendly relationship with my wedding couples means a lot to me. By planning together, we can make your day one that you and your guests will remember for a long time.

Planned personally with you

We meet in person or by video. I help you plan, share advice on the schedule and recommend suitable suppliers. I coordinate directly with your venue and wedding party.

How we plan together

Your music, for every generation

Open Format means your favourite songs, classics and current hits, chosen to suit your guests. A playlist is optional: we discuss your wishes and do-not-plays together. Guest requests are welcome.

Your music. Your story.

An evening that sounds like you.

Your favourite songs meet classics and current hits. I combine the music that matters to you with a feel for your guests.

01

The songs you want to hear

Tell me which songs, artists and styles mean something to you. We also agree on the music for your entrance, first dance and other special moments.

02

The music you prefer to skip

We note down songs and genres you dislike as do-not-plays, so your preferences are clear before the celebration.

03

Requests from your guests

Guests can ask me at the booth or send a request by QR code. I choose when a track suits the mood and the flow; every request does not have to play immediately.

My open-format mix brings together different decades, club and radio hits, singalongs and party classics. Your preferences set the direction, and I respond to the dance floor.

Good to know

Your questions before the wedding

How far ahead should we enquire?

For popular dates, ideally six to 18 months in advance. Short-notice enquiries are welcome too – your date may still be available. I reply as soon as possible.

How do we meet, and when is our date booked?

We get to know each other in a free meeting, in person or by video. Feeling comfortable with each other matters to me. The validity period is stated in your individual proposal. Your date is booked once all required parties have accepted the contract. The agreed deposit is then due within the period stated in the contract and invoice.

How long will you play at our wedding?

We agree on the exact playing time using your schedule, no later than our final meeting. Private clients receive a fixed price for the agreed scope, with no hourly extensions. We therefore discuss your preferred finish in advance.

When do you set up and pack down?

I always set up before your guests arrive and arrange access and timing directly with the venue. I usually pack down after the event. Setup and pack-down are included in the agreed fixed price.

Do we need to prepare a playlist?

You are welcome to send me a playlist, but it is optional. Your do-not-plays matter more: which songs or styles do you definitely want to avoid? We usually find the musical direction naturally during our planning conversations.

Can our guests request songs?

Yes, at the DJ booth or by QR code. We agree with you on the options for your celebration. I choose when a request fits the atmosphere, always respecting your do-not-plays.

How much do you speak on the microphone?

I announce important moments and share the information your guests need. When appropriate, I encourage people to join in, but generally I prefer to let the music speak. I speak and host in German and English, with basic French.

How do we coordinate speeches and surprises?

I contact your witnesses or wedding party beforehand to coordinate speeches, games and surprises. Other contributors can contact me directly too. Microphones are available at the agreed indoor and outdoor stations.

Do you bring your own equipment?

I normally use my own sound and lighting equipment. If the venue already has professional equipment, I check its suitability in advance. We plan the setup around your rooms, guests and schedule.

Can you provide music for an outdoor ceremony?

Yes. We agree on music, cues and microphones in advance. Suitable weather protection for the equipment and an alternative space in case of rain are required. Battery-powered equipment is possible by prior agreement; a suitable power supply on site is preferable.

What about venue sound limits?

I coordinate sound limits and other requirements directly with the venue and comply with them. This helps us plan an appropriate setup and sound system.

How much does a wedding DJ cost, including travel?

I prepare an individual proposal. The agreed DJ services, setup and pack-down are offered at a fixed price. Travel is listed in the proposal according to distance; longer journeys may also involve an overnight allowance.

What happens if you are ill?

If illness prevents me from performing, I will seek a professionally comparable replacement through my Trenz Events and Time Solutions Eventagentur network. We discuss the replacement DJ together, and they take over only with your express agreement. I cannot guarantee that a replacement will be available. If no replacement is agreed, payments for services not provided are refunded in accordance with the contract.
